He and Miranda ought to square off and get that over with first thing. If Taylor going to survive at 168, he shouldn't waste his time on guys who won't present him problems. Lacy's shoulder is screwed as evidenced by teh Manfredo fight. Before Calzaghe, Manfredo would have been happy to have lasted 6 rounds with Left Hook. Instead, Lacy only wins by a relatively close decision. Maybe if wanted an easy route to another title, "regular" (whatever that hell that means) WBA champ Tony Mundine would be worth his while. Kessler and Bute would crush Taylor. Andrade and Green would probably beat him in decision, but then again, he's always been lucky there.
While I agree he and Miranda should square off...I think your taking too much away from Taylor too soon...Kessler and Bute may beat him it's silly to imply any crushing going on...I think Andrade gets beat UD and Taylor hands Green his ass 9 times out of 10:yep
Except for Maxime, who out of those below think Taylor would beat Bute at 168? I think this would be a good time to bump this thread:yep My picks stay the same...I think Jermain had a good performance despite the loss Well now Jermain will be campaigning as a SMW and I think he will certainly be competitive I would really be interested in seeing Taylor-Miranda and Taylor-Kessler in the future:good Your thoughts mates............:think
Oops, I should read the question before voting... I think Kessler and Mundine beat him, maybe Froch and Bute.
I think Kessler would outpoint him but Mundine and Bute give him a great fight! I still think Froch gets beat by Jermain
who holds the belts at super middleweight? i am benjiabc i am the official jermain taylor nuthugger"this is supported by kelly the ghost pavlik"
Well Bute owns the IBF strap and Joe Calzaghe owns the BA, BC, BO and Ring...however once he moves up to fight Hopkins and wins(just my pick)He will have the Ring at 175...I'm not sure he'll stay there as there are bigger and less dangerous fights back at 168
that would be a smart choice for JC to come back down. i think jermain shocked alot of people last night and earned alot of credit. personally i believe he could and would beat all except JC and kessler. makes for some dam good fights though i am benjiabc i am the offical jermain taylor nuthugger " this is supported by kelly the ghost pavlik"
I was shocked Jermain lasted 12 rounds....I give Kessler a better chance of winning then I do Taylor however I'm not writing him off in any fight..I think a few other names on the list would still trouble Taylor though:yep and thank you for the warning:good
Lol I made a mistake picking who would beat Taylor not who Taylor would beat. :| From that list I see only Kessler beating Taylor for sure and even the Bute and Mundine fights are a bit in favor for Jermain. I don't see Miranda or Froch pulling it off but I would't rule out an upset KO either... but I wouldn't bet on it. Another interesting name: Roy Jones. Evet an 39 I see him the faster and of course bigger of the two but the punch output is too low. The biggest threat, and obviously the fight I want to see is the Kessler fight.
