This isn't even close. Prime Hatton and Castillo future hall of famers, but Toney and Hopkins were something else. Floyd lost to a brawler puncher with little defense to Castillo. Roy didn't lose to anyone in his prime or even remotely close to losing.

    Thats a fair point.

I wish Roy had have got fights against Eubank and Benn in his Prime years.

They would have been dream fights for me.

If DM is a top dog, then Virgil Hill, Gonzalez and Richard Hall have to be considered legit opponents since DM had life and death battles with them.

Not to mention Thulani Malinga who had split battles with Benn and lost a split decision to Eubank. Clinton Woods is also a legit name since he beat Gonzalez by UD, and drew with Glen Johnson.

In which case, Roy Jones seems to have a much deeper resume than previously posted.

I'm not sure if they'd beat Roy, but before becoming pro, McClellan and Liles had wins over him. Liles a southpaw, McClellan a big puncher. Equals to Antonio Tarver perhaps? Anyways, from Eubank and Benn, I'd probably give Benn a puncher's chance to ko Roy, but I think Roy would of outboxed Eubank and maybe do the samething to Benn. Benn threw bombs, but opened up way too much and if he'd fail to land on Roy, Roy would use him for target practice in my opinion.

They both liked to eat the low hanging cherrys, buy Floyd has taken his cherrypicking to the extreme. There is no way a Floyd Mayweather would fight the equivalent of a James Toney in his prime, nor would he fight the equivalent of a very raw, but talented Bernard Hopkins. Roy by landslide.

Not sure if u noticed luke but have u ever thought that your ideas were way off..I mean i see more people on ESB saying "ur this" or "ur that"...I think u should try and look at this from the outside...BOTTOM LINE IS FLOYD IS TRYING TO FIGHT THE TOP 3 GUYS...ON TOP OF THAT HE HAS ONLY 1 OF HIS FIGHTS IN QUESTIONS BY FANS...I MEAN SAY WHAT YOU WANT BUT ALOT OF WHAT YOU SAY IS WAY OFF FROM THE REALITY OF IT:deal:good

Clearly Mayweather and Jones are ATGs but their resumes are severely lacking compared to less naturally talented contemporaries (Pacman and Hopkins).

However Roy's best wins are better then Floyd's (Toney, McCallum and B-Hop)

LukeO is a joke, but so are two of his critics STDFinest and Rooney.
No bias as you support opposite sides, but all 3 TOTAL jokes.

Ring intelligence is not natural, it is learned. Athleticism, reflexes and power are natural.

If Mayweather beats Mosley, then the answer is Mayweather.
