Regarding your list -

Rosados isnt really a good win at all is he? Hes never won a decent fight in his life, and got a shot at 3G by way of losing his shot at the intercontinental title (that is failure at the sub top ten level). A weak win for 3G.

Nobu isnt much either, if you are being honest? a weak title defence or staybusy fight at best, as are Matt Macklin and Adama. And Simon.

Stevens, Ouma and Proksa are not so bad though. Monroe and Lemieux are fair defences, whilst Jacobs, Rubio, Murray and Geale are the ones that stand out as good defences.

So if we are being fair to dino, he gave 3 fighters a pass.... and there are 4 genuine world class fighters on 3Gs resume. He wasnt far wrong..although he was wrong to claim the others were cream puffs - not all of them are.

Personally I'd be more candid and give 3G double that - about 6 decent defences that qualify as world class, allowing him a couple of weak defences that all fighters make of course, then 6+2 is about right- mainly the ones he made since becoming the recognised WBA titlist.


At the age of 35, he should have more. Its his own fault that he pyssed around with the fake IBO title and the fake "reg" title for years before stepping up regularly after danny geale. YOu cannot blame others for his previous lack of ambition...but in his defence at least he decided to give it a go and grab and defenc a major belt eventually in his 30s. Jacobs was reported to have signed up for VADA like 4 weeks out from his fight with GGG during that time interval GGG was tested 4 times while sources claim jacobs was tested only once if at all.

Keep in mind GGG was also getting tested year round unlike jacobs and his upcoming opponent is not doing VADA so he has not been tested up to this point unlike GGG.
