If Tua is truly back, I even think Tua - Wladdy is a prospect to savor.

One leaping left hook is all it takes....

Nope... too old, and too inactive.

I think too that Tua could really take a long look at the Lewis fight and apply the lessons to a fight with Wlad- come in in top shape, use the right more, etc.

I can't see why everyone would not be behind this. I garuntee that it would generate more interest than any other figth except Wlad-Haye, or Wlad-Vitaly, which we know it not going to happen.

People like Tua. He is a true puncher with a great chin, and has had some legendary fights. This would be a great fight between two guys with serious reputations.

Cachi - like you I think a Tua - Wladdy fight would bring in huge $$$$ and worldwide
interest. And yes - I think Tua could prove that he does know how to beat tall
jabbers. His weight was a factor with Lewis. He is actually fitter now than he was then.

Moorer was completely shot, the stoppage against Rahman was questionable (and so was his draw in rematch) and Maskaev was down too often to make it big achievement.

And it was when Tua was more or less in his prime. Also, he was behind on scorecards in many fights to the moment of stoppage (like vs Maskaev or Oquendo). He needed almost full distance to land anything useful on them when he was in his prime, so I am afraid today he would just keep losing round after round.

Yes - he can be vulnerable to the odd wiley fighter. Byrd and Lewis spent their
whole fight staying clear of his left hook.

But nobody else has really managed it. I guess we'll see.

Before Klit, he has to fight a ranked heavyweight. Peter is on his way down. How about Tua vs Ruiz? Ruiz for redemption, and Tua for a mandatory opportunity? And both for lots of $$$. Big money fight.

Yep - TUA-RUIZ is a big money fight. But I hate the way Ruiz has learned to "hug"

Don't you think he may even smother Tua?

His weight was Ok against Byrd. Tua can't deal with good skills. if he can't KO Byrd, how is he going to reach Wlad's chin? Alos, punching a target to high might very well take steam out of his punches.

But if he returns to form, don't you think TUA-WLAD might be one of the better
matchups available? At least he has a real chance.
