i think everyone is of the same mind when it comes down to keeping busy and using the "keep active" approach to maintain weight and satisfy the hunger(pardon the pun). Its been a long time since ive seen Tua so determined and has gotten Bloodworth over here in NZ training him hard out.You dont get a great trainer interested in coming this far this far if its just a one off fight im thinking ,so his actions are ticking all the right boxes.....enough for me to be optimistic about his return for the first time in years.
hes done stick a fork in him...........hes 36 hes short.............guys like tyson/frazier/marciano/tua.............prime early and fade fast unlike slick boxers like holmes/ali/lewis.........they last longer.............SO TUA IS DONE LIKE DINNER...DONT BE SURPRISED IF CAMERON BEATS HIM
He can still be a major threat to anyone in the division at the momment,as long as he is in shape and up for it.If he could land one decent shot on Wlad it would be over.
i back up what i've said. he had his two chances at the world title and he lost both times. no way in hell does he have a chance against the current heavyweight champions particularly the klitschko brothers. what would he look like fighting them, a little fat stumpy oompa loompa? :rofl
I dont think a match up with a Klit is the greatest thing to happen for Tua but if he was matched with one of them then he would do as good if not better than what you may think mantacougar..... you talk pure **** when you say he had two shots for the championship. You do know he only fought once for the title dont you or are u on strong medication or something dude ??
Klit has been knocked down more times than a drunk drinking Steinlager. Brewster, Sanders, Williamson. Who else? Peter. Who else? Think I missed someone. BUT, Steward got Klit's career back on track. Why can't Tua do the same? Give the man a chance. He faces Cameron. KO's him. Fights Meehan or a Meehan type fighter. KO's him. Fights Klit, Arreola, or whoever holds the belt in 2010.
I dont think theres ever been (well not in my memory) a heavyweight who not only beat but KTFO no less than 4 world title holders yet didnt manage to win one himself. He deserves to go down in boxing history for that stat if nothing else. I do think that hes back in business this time and Cameron is in for a severe beating, especially after his rather stupid lack of respect for Tua's achievements. BTW Cameron is not a top 20 fighter, I mean its nice hes from NZ and that but he lost to the only decent fighter he fought, a guy who is considered something of a upper level journeyman. Cameron has a decent resume but beating big Bob and Kevin Montiy et al dont make him a top 20 guy
We will have to wait and see just how aggressive Tua is going to be approaching his fights stylistically before thinking he is ready to fight a Klit bro i think. I think the fight with Cameron will tell a lot about the mindset that Tua possesses and just how determined his heart is this time around. Mark my words....Tua is a threat and may be an even bigger threat than ever before. But actions speak louder than words so let the games begin!:good
I cant really see Tua beating either Klit but if hes back in good form like I think he may be he can knock out a lot of top guys, pretty sure hes in shape and his speed doesnt look down if any from a bit of footage. Just depends if he still has that mean streak after the time off, Cameron thinks hes gone soft which is funny , judged on his last few years of drifting against bums, Cameron is gonna get wasted
Pus - when I compare fights of both, like you I can't help thinking Cameron is going to get destroyed by Tua. I just can't see it otherwise
