Why's that Prof ?? I honestly, along with what seems to be the majority GGG really beat Canelo TWICE !! already. The vast majority think this way from what they say. I'm sure GGG has taken care of his $$$ & need not fight any more while Canelo, if he cares what people think, must know that the majority do not think he ever REALLY bettered GGG. Wasn't too long ago the Mexican fans were disowning him & calling him El Pollo Rojo That must have hurt him
GGG should just stick to what made him great and fight behind his strong elite jab. If his stamina holds up he still has a chance to out box Canelo again. Even if he gets jobbed on the cards again there isn't much he can do he shouldn't defect from his game plan at the age of 40 and risk being knocked out or severely hurt because of corrupt officials. Even if Canelo gets a gift it will be humiliating to need another gift to beat a 40 year old fighter and that will be just as bad as taking an official loss.
At 40 Golovkin will not have gotten any better, while Alvarez is still clearly in his prime. I'll eat crow if somehow he turns back time, but the odds are clearly against it. I don't think he'll get KOd, but he will lose clearly. As Ray Arcel used to say, "You can't beat Father Time."
He should have known it even before the first fight really but maybe he just thought he would smash Canelo, I don't know. Most people at the time didn't think Canelo would see the final bell. I'll still watch the 3rd fight but I honestly don't care who wins. The first 2 fights were enjoyable and hopefully this one is as well.
At 40 I think Canelo stops Golovkin (although I said Canelo would win in the 2nd fight as well and I actually thought Golovkin won)
That rant was...strangely rational from you. I'm a bit stunned, but I'm still waking up and have had only 1 cup of coffee so I can't respond just yet.
