Walk him down like its the last boxing match he will ever fight him, bring out his rage from the streets from his childhood.
We'll just have to wait & see. After all he will be 40 yrs old & past his best. All I hope is that he gets a fair chance this time He sure as heck got screwed both previous times. Canelo stole his titles like a thief in the night. No one expects him to get a square deal & we all know why. the corruption was so blatant
Canelo is due for a betrayal. It could happen. Bradley got a gift vs Pacman at the apex of Pac's celebrity. DLH got screwed a couple of times when he was the cash cow. It happens.
I think you've got to make Golovkin a serious underdog against Canelo, the two likely outcomes are Canelo by wide UD or a stoppage late of an old middleweight. The Murata fight should provide some insight to what he has left, if GGG struggles to a 12 round decision like the Derev fight he should consider retirement , I'd hate to see Canelo wipe him out.
Don't think a third fight is happening. GGG hasn't signed a contract. And I doubt he will jump 3 weight classes to fight Canelo at Light Heavyweight.
Don't really see how GGG could do anything right now to beat Canelo. He tries to box behind the jab? Good strategy, but he doesn't have the timing or reflexes to get much else going at this stage. He tries to slug and Canelo lands the cleaner/sharper punches, especially to the body. He's badly faded and Canelo is still prime, even though I actually think he's dropping off a bit athletically with the added weight. I don't care to see this fight - Canelo has bigger and fresher assignments to get up for if he gets past Bivol.
GGG and Canelo Alvarez will probably never fight again, both are seeking new competition, Golovkin vs Murata, and Alvarez vs Beterbiev. Besides that, the boxing public is more interested in seeing better and better title bouts. Sometimes rematches or trilogies can be exciting, then again as mentioned before, it is like watching a rerun on television.
