at 44-0, does Floyd Mayweather Jr. deserve credit for never being upset?

floyd will be remembered as a cherry-picker who never fought the best on his resume during their primes (except perhaps castillo and he never made that mistake again). Robinson and LaMotta fought twice within a month. Now that is true greatness.

  3. Hagler will KO every single person Floyd ever fought.
    Not UD not SD. KO

Prior to Round 8. Bank on it.

The only person Floyd fought that could make it to Round 8 was old Oscar.

Are you ****ing insane or stupid or both? Hagler was an ATG MIDDLEWEIGHT YOU MORON. Floyd didn't even fight ONE MW.. How the **** are guys like Castillo gonna last one round against Hagler? Is this a sick joke?

Hearns was 6'2 1/2 .... he will KO everyone Floyd fought as well. Prime Oscar have a shot to survive 12.. not the version Floyd fought.

God you are beyond delusional if you think MIDDLEWEIGHT HAGLER and 6'2-6'3 Hearns will 'lose' to anyone on Floyd's resume.

    In fact... 45-0
because Hearns and Hagler will beat Floyd as well. Easily too. Not a competitive fight.. but easy work.

Floyd will go into a defensive shell and lose 12 straight rounds to Hearns... Floyd come up to Hearn's stomach..

Floyd will get KTFO by Hagler..

lmfao. Is this a ******* pretending to be a fake *****.

YA a 140-147 Pound Judah is gonna trouble MIDDLEWEIGHT HAGLER.
    :rofl:rofl:rofl:nut:nut

Hagler will end Judah's life within 3 rounds. lmfao

    you gotta be a troll.

Let me put this in a way you can understand.

Weight classes exist for a reason.

To think that the light weights Floyd beat could have survived against an ATG Middle Weight... is saying that Andre Ward can beat Prime Mike Tyson .

WEIGHT CLASSES EXIST for a reason.

    Lmfao. judah troubling hagler

For a "serious" response, the answer lies in between the two poll options. Floyd's competition level in general has not been bums, nor has it been stacked with elite fighters to be rated as a tough task given his ability. His level of competition has been about average all things considered. And as others have said, he has had some close fights in there against Castillo and DLH, where he was fortunate in Castillo's case in their first fight to keep his unblemished record.

Fighting twice a month isn't "true greatness". It's just some 1940s ****. Do you think SRR or LaMotta could have fought twice a month fighting anybody on the level of FMJ's last 15 opponents or so?

Big time credit. People arguing about the Castillo bout, i Know guys that hate Mayweather who thought he won, so it was a close fight, and he won the rematch.

    Time to move on.

Come on man, I hate the ****er too, be real. Don't put me in the position of having to defend Floyd. I'm going to assume your comment was tongue-in-cheek and move on.
