At a time with so much free boxing, a Golovkin PPV is a waste

First, these are 2 champions in their prime fighting. 2nd, Lemieux came off an impressive win over a tough Ndam, same fighter that gave Quillin all he could handle. Ggg just stopped a tough Murray who'd never been stopped before. Aside from that, they bring alot of action, in another words, you're not going to snooze on a ppv you just paid $70+. A step towards unification. The undercard itself is ppv worthy.

I actually agree with threadstarter. PPV's should be massive super bouts, not just good matchups. There are plenty of very good fights on TV that are either free (really free like on the Mexican local channels) and on cable.

If HBO is hyping up GGG as a superstar, then he needs to be spectacular in this bout. THEN a GGG-Canelo/Cotto fight would be PPV. I don't consider GGG-Ward PPV worthy right now.

400,000 buys in your 9th year in the game, with a popular Mexican champ on the undercard makes you a PPV star?

One guy decks him 4x "impressive win."

The other guy decks him 6x "gave him all he could handle."

Golovk*nts, what are you gonna do with them?
