tffp: u dont half talk out of your hole sometimes! since when does he constantly reiterate 'it' all the time? he 's said it about twice when asked about the subject in interviews! 'no reflexes' idiot! you dont out jab and beat pascal to the punch if u have no reflexes.
Froch has never relied on speed or fancy foot work so that has not slipped as it often does when fighters age. He has always been granite chinned and heavy handed. I have seen him since his first pro fight and there really is little difference in his style and application.
Axe - the IP - is just trying to discredit fighters at 168. Basically his entirely being revolves around Adamek and so because some people thought Bute, Kessler and Calzaghe would beat Adamek when Adamek was a LHW - Axe has tried to discredit them ever since. Don't think he is trying to talk Froch down because he likes Dirrell - no... that is not it at all. Here is a post from a couple of days ago where he tries to discredit Dirrell: http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=171802 Just a hater (and a Adamek lover).
he went 12 rounds with jean pascal and jermain taylor, both fights were great fights but i dont consider them to have put that much wear on froch's tires... it's not like he went 15 with joe frazier... i think he's got plenty of years left... having said that, i'm rooting for dirrell
Froch has the defensive reflexes of a brick wall. You don't need to watch much footage of him to see that. Combined with his half guard its clearly one of his major limiting factors.
Froch isn't slipping, his opposition is getting better . . . Really, what would give the idea he is losing ground? I would say he's probably going to be the best Cobra we've ever seen going into his next fight based on the decreased distractions (by product of $$), experience in big fights and motivation to get the grand prize of the tourney. Considering his style has never relied heavily on his speed or reflexes, it's a bit of a stretch to say he has entered his old age all ready at 33.
he never had reflexes... so slipping aint a problem for froch, hes a tough dude ready to kill or be killed!
Froch is at his his peak, and he will outbox Dirrell like he did Pascal. Or knock him out like he did Jermaine Taylor.
Age is not a factor. He doesn't have any major wear and tear. But his nose is particulary flat and ogre-like.
