Here we go. This time things are serious. Granite v Hammer will be real.

    Thoughts? Who takes it?

    Wilder by KO.

For a heavyweight such as Wilder with a long reach, Ruiz will not be difficult to hit. He has a better chin than some others, so he will likely last some rounds.

That being said, Ruiz does have fast hands, so there is a slim chance of an upset.

Depends on how Ruiz decides to fight. Wilder looked good at the weekend partly because Helenius plodded forward without committing to his punches - literally presenting a target and doing nothing to distract Wilder's attention from it. If Ruiz can attack Wilder the way he attacked Joshua - springing into range and letting his hands go throwing combinations - then Wilder will find it much harder to create a window to let his right hand detonate. He does NOT like to punch with his opponent.

It's high risk, because if Wilder times him he's taking a clean shot while moving forward, but it also creates the kind of riddle Wilder is not best suited to solve...

Ruiz will lose imo. If AJ floored him, Wilder will stop him.

I’m saying a Wilder win by stoppage over Ruiz, however Ruiz is a proud and brave fighter and as long as he’s in there he will be making Wilder work .

I don't like Wilder, but I don't see him losing this. Ruiz is a quality slugger, but you simply don't exchange with this dosser, unless you are Tyson Fury

Ruiz likes to just sit in front of his opponent looking for openings. Against Wilder that is suicidal. Wilder will have no trouble closing the distance with his speed and reach advantage.

I don’t even think Ruiz’s chin is that good, at best it’s just slightly above average. It won’t survive the nuke that is Wilder’s right hand.

    ^ Here's the answer.

If Ruiz trains in a donut factory Wilder will mallet him. If Ruiz recognises this as an opportunity to be considered a top heavyweight again, and trains like he means it, I think he's got a good chance of wrecking Wilder's life for him. He needs to get close where his shorter arms and stocky stature are an advantage, and where Wilder can't keep him off.

I imagine Ruiz going down after a gunshot burst by Wilder, getting up less rocked than Fury and landing raging combos to the already dented temples of Beyonce by Fury.

2 or 3 KDs imo and at the third the referee declares the TKO.

    Ruiz TKO Beyonce

I hope we see that fight. Ruiz is a man with a hard head, I can't tell if he can overcome the Wilder's right hand, but I think he rather can. And if he prepares properly for being mobile enough, he has all the necessary to beat the *hit out of Wilder and I whish him so.

Shall we forget about how reluctant Fat Andy was to let his hands go in his last fight against a 42 y/o Ortiz and how fearful he was of getting clipped by his great-grandfather power?

Arreloa's ghost destroyed his self-confidence. Let that sink in
