    Or have Brits only ever been captivated by 'personalities' such as Cooper, Benn, Eubank and right now Khan and Hatton?

    Boxing was up there all the way though to the 50s. Even after that, it had massive rspect in this country and could produce brilliant TV numbers all the way thought to when Naseem left ITV in 1995. Since then it just never quite been the same again.
