I was about to click on SRL but then he was beaten by Duran, didn't he? Ali was my personal choice. Concerning Money May, hey, Mr. Nobody Keith Thurman thinks he can beat Floyd ( undercard of Broner-Escobedo, a ww with some 19-0, 18 KOs) so if he thinks this way, many may feel the same.

That`s what I mean, Chavez will be the one doing the damage AND the majority of the scoring inside, floyd is going to have to do more scoring from the outside than Chavez will do on the inside... there`s no doubt the fight will be fought on both the inside & the outside throughout the fight... Chavez has a much higher workrate & is a master at cutting off the ring, I feel JCC makes fmj fight on the inside way more than floyd wants to.

I got Chavez in this one.

What weight? That has alot to do with it. 135 I think Chavez, Duran, Armstrong, Benny Leonard, and Ike Williams could of beaten Floyd at lightweight as Castillo did in the first match. Stevie Johnston would of been difficult for him too as would Casamayor both being difficult southpaws in their primes. Camacho, Oscar, Mosley at 135 could of upset him too.

Fair enough if you pick fmj... but it ain`t happening like JCC-Taylor because Taylor throws far, far more punches than floyd & doesn`t fight off the backfoot nearly as much.

Taylor`s offence & floyds defense rolled into one fighter, yeah, I`m taking that guy over Chavez... but that shits impossible & neither had/have what it takes to beat Chavez (IMO)

After successfully defending his title 21 times, Ottke stepped down as undefeated world champion on 27 March 2004. Ottke has a record of 34 wins and 0 losses as a professional.

    Ottke in Germany.

Did I say anything like that? I just said I believe he could've a lot of problems with them any time he fought them.

BTW, in this period he fought Liston (somewhat suspicious fights), Patterson (past prime) and somehow he got through Cooper. I think it is a stretch to say it makes him unbeatable.

Nah, I doubt you've seen peak mid-late 70s Duran. If Duran could move up to ww and outfight a peak Sugar Ray Leonard, I think he could do the same to Sweet Pea at lightweight. Duran was good enough at cutting off the ring, slipping shots on the way in, and throwing combos on the inside to outfight Pea IMO. I think you underrate the speed, skills, and intensity of the peak Roberto Duran, if you think he could just be outslicked. He was a very very special fighter, a force of nature. :deal:deal

:huh:huh:huh I can't think of many fighters who fight less like Meldrick Taylor than Floyd Mayweather. They are polar opposites in terms of style. Have no idea what the **** you've been watching!!
