The first cooper fight was in 1963, we`re talking about Ali of 64-67.... Cooper barely laid a glove on Muhammad Ali at his peak (1966 in this case)

Liston 1 - only a ****** that listens to bedtime stories thinks this wasn`t legit.

Liston 2 - we will never know for sure, Ali did his thing, whatever Liston did he took to the grave with him, Ali was the better boxer & champion, enough said here.

Also, past prime blah blah blah, enough of the bull**** please... Ali beats any version of Patterson without hitting top gear, he played with Floyd & won every round, what more do you want him to do, avoid the fight because Patterson was past prime ? :huh he fought everybody, he defended his title 9 times in just over 2 years vs all the best available without ever looking threatened.

    All true ^ ;)

I`m with you on this one, from Buchanan in 1972 til Leonard I in 1980 (non-title fight vs Dejesus in 1972 aside) he looked every inch 1 of the best & most complete fighters ever caught on film.

As good as Pernell is (& I`m a big fan of his, he`s one of my favourite fighters to watch), I don`t know how anyone can watch Duran vs for eg. Dejesus III, Palomino or Leonard I & think Whitaker is just going to out-slick Duran to a points win as if Duran was nothing but brute force... Duran was every bit on Whitaker`s level (& there is no higher level IMO) as a complete fighter & boxing master.

The people picking Pea to outbox prime Duran & frustrate him are the same people that believe that if the SRL of the 2nd Duran fight showed up for Montreal he`d make Duran quit... they just aren`t thinking things thru properly, they obviously have not seen Roberto Duran at his best, its the only explanation.

I personally think Duran of the 1st SRL fight would give any version of Whitaker a tooling, maybe not stop him but beat him convincingly, thats not a knock on Pea but this version of Duran was just ridiculously good.

:think:think How did you come to this conclusion? I'm curious why you think he got a 'glass jaw'. Is this some chin checker logic you got going on?

Hearns might not have the best chin, but it's not glass.

No one. But if we're going to play this game I'll be a fan-boy and throw my hat at Marciano against anyone in the 180-200 range.

Hearns would have Tito out of there before Tito could even get to his chin...Cuevas/Duran style. Hearns is all wrong for Tito.

Then you also have guys like McCullum, Benitez, and Wright (who was far better at 154lbs than 160lbs where he schooled the hell out of Tito).

^^^ All those dudes beat him at 154lbs, where he was very good but FAR from unbeatable.

and why did you even bring up Hagler? You're saying he's very hittable? Tito was much more hittable, and Hagler had a far better chin...Hagler would beat seven shades of **** out of Tito, man.

:thumbsup:thumbsup Ya, but LHW is such a deep deep division.

There's a lot of great LHW'S that would have knocked out a 175 Jones, which his delusional fan boys think is STILL unbeatable even at 175.

Spinks,Charlez,Archie,Moorer all had a great chance of knocking each other out and 175 Roy as well.

Muhammad Ali of 1964-67 never lost a fight or even came close to losing a fight you tool end.... neither did a couple of others on the list if you read it properly.

Floyd would beat Mosley at 135. Floyds style doesn't suit Mosley.

Kinda surprised there weren't more votes for Hearns.
