At his BEST, could any heavyweight of the last 20 years have beaten Mike Tyson?

Didn't the ref counted as long as what, 13 seconds when Douglas got knocked down?

    A fighter is given a 10 count, not a 10 second count.......
.....but your assumption would be irrelevant anyways.....Douglas was clear headed and listening to the ref to near the end of the count to get up....he could have and would have gotten up sooner had the ref reached the end of his count faster.

....get over that, bottom line is that Tyson by Buster Douglas was outboxed, outfought, and beatdown.
Its ridiculous that their are still people who try to take his well earned victory from him with this crazy notion that he was down for more than 10 seconds.

    Get over that?!
He WAS down for 13 seconds.
And to think he nearly pulverised Douglas without even training properly - how can anyone ascertain that Douglas "beats Tyson everytime?"
    That's bullsh*t.
Also, the big guys that Tyson struggled with, a la, Bonecrusher etc, just spent the night trying to survive, running and/or holding.
Try looking good when an 18st behemoth is trying to tie you up all night, and even the greatest boxer of all time is gonna struggle to look good.
But hey, Tyson STILL beat these guys out of sight.
I think Iron Mike would've given Lennox and VitKlit all the trouble they could handle - irrespective of their size - and at the very least, beaten both convincingly on points.

If were talking the best version of any fighter, I would favor Lewis and Holyfield over him. Vitali and Bowe are coinflips imo. If Wlad could get past round 6, he has an excellent chance but I don't see it right now.

The only fighter in the last 20 years that can beat Tyson in his prime is Lewis. I wouldn't even bet on it either, it's more of a 50/50.

Riddick Bowe- Won't beat a peak Tyson because of his leaky defense. Mike's fast and powerful combinations would find their way through to stop him in the mid rounds.

Vitali would lose on points to Tyson because he would fight him on the inside where Tyson was better than he was. He has a chance though.

Wlad would get KO'd early. No explanation needed.

Prime Holyfield had trouble with Bert Cooper and went down. He also had a tough fight with an old Larry Holmes. I think Tyson would win a late stoppage or points win.

Lewis was just so much bigger than Tyson. Same with Wlad and Vitali.

With Tyson, you had to be big, strong and intimidating. If you pushed back then Mike would fall apart.

So, I would say LL and Vitali definitely beat a prime Tyson.

Bowe and Holyfield are even matches.

Not sure about Wlad. That would be a battle of who collapses mentally first.

He would take care of the Klits and Lewis IMO, Holy would be tough but I think a prime Holmes beats him in a close but clear UD.
