5'8 is about right for Floyd

I saw him multiple times in person in vegas, he is exactly 5'8'' like me, we were eye to eye. He has a small frame but he's fairly tall. It was like looking in a mirror. except we didn't look at all alike.

I've noticed that a lot of tall people are fooled by frame size in judging height. Because the skeleton is slight doesn't mean it isn't long. Once one of my fat 6'4'' friends was talking about a girl and said, Kim's as tall as you.

Then I met her and I was 5 inches taller.

bballchump11-good examples. floyd realy fought good opposition his size or bigger. I just remember the coralles bout, where he looked like a midget and than what he did, guess the was the best floyd we have ever seen.

    pac vs marga was like

floyd vs coralles with the difference

mayweather looked way better and defeating the taller stronger man

but margarito was a better stronger boxer than coralles

Excactly. While Corrales was big for 130 or 135, his power nor chin was as good as someone like Margarito. That's why he stayed at dangerously low weights even though he could've been more energized and effective at 140 or 147. When he finally moved up late in his career, he almost got KO'd by Clottey and could not put Clottey in a shell like Cotto, Pacquiao, or Margarito could. He was a hard puncher at 135 and below but that's it. His power never moved up with him like Pacquiao or Hearns did and neither did his chin. Margarito was far more dangerous for Pacquiao than Corrales for Mayweather. Corrales was just the better fighter skillwise who at the time had a good KO record but in looking back, none of those guys he beat before fighting Mayweather were really that great. He got better at 135 IMO.

Corrales had some surprisingly fast hands also at 130 despite moving slow as hell

Not at all like that ... Considering that Pac is smaller than Floyd and Marg is much bigger and stronger than Corales.

 Chico was fighting at 130. All of his fights before that was at 130. He stayed at 130 for the next 2 years also.

De La Hoya didn't fight at 147 for a decade and when he did fight there, he would always rehydrate past 150
