chavez is a joke lol he flipped and flopped at the crucial time to fight GGG everthing was done GGG signed the contract 1 month before chavez would of the most money ever would of made but he ducked lol chavez hardly can talk he ducked ggg
Once a duck, always a duck in my eyes. This is nothing but smoke and mirrors. At the very least we hope this can stir some national pride in Canelo and get him moving.
Chavez Jr has an iron chin and it will not get cracked by GGG, at 168 GGG's punches will not have the same effect against the bigger longer Chavez. It will be like Chavez vs Fonfara except GGG will be Chavez.
He can't. Adding "former" in front of mw was making the title too long. He was actually asked if he can even make 168 against Genady and he boasted that should he fail, he will forfeit his purse in favor of GGG.
Ward and Chavez Jr are 2 very different Boxers. Or is this a dig at GGG not fighting Ward? And i dont belive he wants this fight anyway, hes just throwing big names out to fish for a bit of media time.
JCC Jr is only in it for a payday. The guy hasn't done anything in years and quit against Fonfara he's a joke at this point. He rather smoke weed than fight he doesn't have the desire to be great which is sad because if he had discpline he could have possibly been.
That's what I wanna know. Hasn't it been like 3 or 4 years since he even fought at 160? If he can, great, but chr*st he'd have to be dead serious in training to do it. No more of this training in his living room and smoking weed sh*t.
We need to stop talking about Canelo vs Ggg and start talking about Bjs Eubanks Heiland Lara And Jacobs Canelo is clearly not ready
I can't believe he got up just to post on twitter? http://img.wikinut.com/img/2wlcsi-x7gzp8y2v/jpeg/724x5000/Drunk-on-the-lawn.jpeg
This would help GGG's ppv marketability, fighting a popular Mexican fighter. I don't see it as being particularly important in any other way though. Chavez Jr. couldn't beat Golovkin back in 2012 when he fought Martinez and was still in relatively decent shape. Now that's he's ballooned up to 171, or just stopped taking laxatives and training seriously to cut enormous amounts of weight, he's not half the fighter he was, and what he was wasn't that great to begin with. I guess it's still better than a mandatory like Wade or Willie Monroe though, if GGG can't get Canelo, BJS, Jacobs, Eubanks Jr, Lee, Quillin, N'Jikam, Murata, or Khytrov into a ring. Personally, I'd kind of like to see him fight DeGale at 168 too.
