Why? Surely people come on to a forum to read.

Also, Floyd's biggest numbers have been against fighter who they themselves drew bigger numbers by fighting non-draws.

Look at the numbers Oscar, Canelo and Ricky did. Floyd NEEDED them to get the big numbers.

Remember: Pre-Oscar, Floyd was only doing 3-400k buys and he was the P4P best then.

As mentioned previously, the only guys Floyd has ever done over a million PPV's were big names themselves: Oscar, Cotto, Mosley, Canelo. He did over a million for the Ortiz fight but I attribute that to it being his first fight fresh out of jail. The first fight out of the joint for a guy always does well as there's genuine intrigue from the public to see if the fighter still has it.

Without Broner and Khan it would have done about 500-600k

Floyd doesn't fight the best and this is the main reason he can't draw flies to a turd

    I agree.

It's the only way to find out his real drawing power. Pac doesn't have that advantage of having a Canelo, Broner or Matthysse vs Garcia on his undercards. Something similar to Canelo can be a Chavez Jr fighting vs. whoever on Pac's undercard and a Lucas Vs Danny MIGHT be Provodnikov vs Marquez (?). Something similar to this will help Pac a lot if Arum actually pulled it off but TR doesn't have a stable like GBP and that is where Mayweather takes advantage (not blaming it on Floyd for taking advantage of what is available).

Great analysis never considered the 2 fights a yr possibly cutting into numbers

I have said for a whole Manny fading took luster off the Floyd vs Pacquiao fight and resulted in both men suffering

Casuals laid down their money for them to fight other guys based on the hope the big one was next. Well now that the fight A looks like it will never happen and B would not be as great on paper now as opposed to before i think many casuals just don't care enough to buy boxing ppvs

After struggling mightily with Maidana I wanna see what Floyd's next fight does. Vulnerability can be played up and many got a taste of Floyd struggling and may think the 0 is next

Pac performing well does increase demand for the big fight and diminishes Floyd's ability to justify substitute bouts vs lesser opponents as a result. It's harder to persuade the public that Khan, Garcia or whoever (they've barely heard of) is actually a tougher fight and has a better chance to win than Pacquiao. I've always said that the entire appeal of a Floyd fight correlates with the likelihood that he might lose, that we might get to witness it.

I dont believe for a second that Pac Bradley did 700 to 800 buys.

Fine, that has nothing to do with what I said. That's another thread. What Guerrero and Maidana had in common is that they were the better choices (Guerrero over Alexander) between two uninspiring options. Everybody said Ortiz was too green and a quitter and he lived up to expectations. Stop playing the public for fools and he'll sell plenty.
