In our room at the MGM, getting ready to head downstairs into the arena. Just walking around this morning, there are all sorts of people wearing flags and dressed up. It feels like a soccer match may break out at some point. Cotto is a surprisingly heavy favorite. He's -240 as of an hour ago, while Margarito is +200. He's the smart bet, although I think Cotto is going to tactically outbox him. Also, I went to the Telefutura card at the Hard Rock yesterday. The main event was a war! Thought the stoppage was a little early, but I defer to the referee. As for tonight, I'm really looking forward to watching some of Top Rank's talented young prospects. I met the brother of one of the opponents, and he basically told me he knows his bro is going to get starched. Hope it's a nice payday, at least. Let's go!
