taylor he is too long/ fast /mobile and a big middleweight. canelo would have to try and get inside / IMO taylor had the legspeed and handspeed and knowledge to stop canelo being effective.
Taylor by decision, Jermain's big weakness is he's a frontrunner until he gasses, but Canelo doesn't have a great engine either and isn't the type that can make him gas. Jermain has a better jab, is physically stronger, larger, longer, faster (of hand and foot). Canelo is a better combination puncher but has to be planted, he's also sturdier. Taylor 1-2's him into a split decision. (because of course Canelo will barely lose on the cards)
They were both known for getting gift decisions, so who knows. In the unlikely scenario that there's actually OBJECTIVE judging, I think Taylor wins a decision. His jab and length would be very problematic for the Ginger.
I like it fellas. I like Taylor by UD myself. It’s sad I had to say the fight would take place in NYC but we all know JT would need a KO if they fought in Vegas or Cali
Very good fight but I just think the big middleweights in their prime are too big for canelo. Taylor UD
Taylor had trouble from guys who could pressure him for the full 12 rounds, Pavlik, Wright and Froch all set a pace Canelo couldn't do. While I think Canelo is the more skilled, Taylor with his size, reach, speed of hand and foot would likely win a competitive decision.
Alvarez stops him. Taylor is a front foot fighter with poor recovery from being buzzed. Alvarez counters and stops him while behind big on everyone cards except the judges and his fanboys
Taylor prob boxes him and is smart enough not to be trapped by canelo. Maybe in a few more years canelo gets even better and takes it for me but atm taylors a safe bet
