thats not domination, thats having your bro fight middlers who would kill you. wlad does not have the ability to dominate.

if we are just looking at churning out fast top level kos then tyson foreman etc.

that certainly strikes fear. But is fear the same as dominance? actual boxing dominance, joe louis.

Never said he had the best ability, he was one dimensional without any counterpunching or inside fighting skills,
without uppercut and he had no dog in him. He had a great 1-2 combination, left hook, great control of distance
and a good ring iq, that was enough for him to dominate.

But he fought against useless small come forward stiffs almost his whole career and he was dominating them.
On paper he is the most dominant champion because he barely lost a round for 8 years, on ability he is not.

It was arguably his best performance. I don't think he ever looked better. It's a crutch Holmes detractors like to use.
Holmes was never Knocked out by the likes of Rahman or the atomic bull lol

Probably because for most of those years he wasn't the champion.....on paper. He was the "uncrowned" champion, at least considered so by many.

Relative to their completion,Liston for short period in time.

You can also say Jeffries, or Holmes as in their primes there was no one better.

Utterly ridiculous. He knew that they were threats, which is why he ducked them. He knew that Thomas we better than him in the late years, and Page, a tremendous talent, certainly could have gotten it together for one fight.

Hands down Mike Tyson..People marvelled at Ali's speed, Foremans power etc, but for sheer brutal, looks like he's killing someone in front of you, no problem, and its Tyson all day long

Probably Louis he ticks every box was extremely dominant knocked out vast majority of his opponents many of whom had never been stopped prior and was always better in the rematches so gave the feeling he just got better.

Seems like Liston of his era was most dominant because he was most feared.

Foreman's era, he had struck the same fear, so his dominance was based on the same factor; power and the fear of it.

Tyson next. In their primes all 3 ran through their foes, not just with brute power, but what comes along with it; fearlessness.

A case could be made for either Klitschko considering that fighters who took them on, usually gave up midway through & ended up fighting to survive, like Kevin Johnson, David Haye to name a few.

Joe Louis was dominant, but at times during his prime he was compromised. Was his loss to Schmelling considered prime? He got tagged all night against Conn, until the last moment.

And not sure how feared Jack Johnson was , let alone how many fights he was dominant in without losing many rounds/

You mean the one armed Thomas? The man had nothing more than a jab. Holmes jab was still busier faster more accurate and versatile and to that his rt hand much higher ring IQ and older Holmes still boxes to a UD. Page ..don't make me laugh. Plain and simple underachiever Ali wannabe who showed up fat and out of shape 95% of the time. Doesn't come close to having the mental strength to beat Holmes. Two of the biggest overrated HW on here. Another typical Holmes hater.

In those days, when Tyson fought, you knew someone would be executed.

I'm mixed on Foreman. He was knocking guys out, but from what I understand, he wasn't destroying top men until Frazier and Norton. So since he wasn't clearing out the top of the division, could he be described as dominant?
