At their prime who would win in a fight between Mike Tyson and Rocky Marciano?

Because you mentioned it? I was merely pointing out that the guy who caught Rocky with this amazing counter had the reflexes of a 40 year old. A 21 year old Mike had slightly more attuned reflexes. He might have a few quick turns to offer Marciano.

My overall point would be that boxing, and especially heavyweight boxing, while being a demonstration of skillset is more than any other division a demonstration of athleticism. Tyson was a dynamic athletic performer: great power, great speed, great balance, great reflexes. His downfall, ultimately, is that he was too small to compete with the heavies. None other than Evander Holyfield came to this conclusion. Against Rocky, this will not be an issue. This is a Blitzkrieg with Rocky playing the role of Poland.

Povetkin was never the lineal champion and lost badly to Klitschko and Joshua so I don't see how he helps your case. Parker also lost to Joshua so again I don't see the relevance.

After Marciano throws the first punch: "Seit 5 Uhr 45 wird zurückgeschossen!!!"

Marcianos opponents were mostly heavier then him only one or two weighed 180. Get your alternative facts right. Human evolution has not occurred over the last 100 years. Men are not genetically superior today then they were yesteryears. Fact of the matter is the lighter guys were the better fighters at the time. Modern weight training and steroids add to the muscle mass. That doesn’t mean the skill level is better. Once again Lowry lost. Get your facts straight. Why couldn’t he knock that one guy out? Who the **** knows he knocked out 88pct of his opponents who cares about one guy? How about those three bums and that one cruiser weight who knocked out Tyson though?

Lol yep on that note you get blocked. Anybody who is dumb enough to think boxing doesn't have weight classes for a reason don't deserve to type to me. Manny Pac can beat Anthony Joshua too right because size doesn't matter right? Marciano made a career out of fighting bums. Lol Tyson only lost to bums when he was past his prime. In his prime only Lewis a 6'5 240 pound fighter, Douglas a 6'4 230 pound fighter and Holyfield a 6'2 205 to 210 pound fighter beat him. You could even say against Lewis he was done.

While Marciano spent his whole career fighting old men weren't heavyweights. Still got knocked down by these old men. Got his butt whipped by a 160 pound fighter and only got the win because the Italian Mob controlled boxing and Rocky Marciano is a Italian. Marciano also got out boxed by 180 pound Roland LaStarza got a gift win. But hey he knocked out 88 percent of the old men who weighed 180 pounds he faced so that must mean he is great. Well Lamar Clark knocked out 43 out of 42 opponents he faced so clearly that means he could beat Tyson too. You are ignored, go away kid you making a fool of yourself.

Wait now you are going to change what you said? Parker was still champion kid, Povetkin was still champion. Ruslan Chagaev was 6'1 and was the champion at one point. The 6'2 Lamon Brewster knocked out Wlad for the WBO title. Watch you make a excuse for that as well. Corrie Sanders a 6'3 fighter knocked out Wlad for the WBO version of the title. Hasim Rahman a 6'2 fighter knocked out Lennox Lewis in 2001 which is less than 20 years ago. John Ruiz a 6'2 held the WBA belt I believe. Chris Byrd a 6'1 guy held the IBF version of the title, Hasim Rahman held the WBC title in 2006, Siarhei Liakhovich held the WBO title in 2006 and he is 6'3, Shannon Briggs held the WBO title and he was 6'3, David Haye is 6'2 if not shorter and he held the WBA title in 2009, Bermaine Stiverne is 6'1 and held the title in 2014, and I am sure I missed some people

You know what your response will be casual? But they lost the belts which clearly isn't what you stated. You said no heavyweight champion in the last 20 years has been Ali height. Then I gave you tons of people so you change it up too who they lose too.

Average age of tyson opponents was older then the Rocks...smh and the average weight of his opponents was around 200. Not 180. But if spewing lies and stupidity (like rocky being mob controlled)makes you feel superior have at it.

The average weight of Tyson's opponents was 254... Marciano's average was 184.

Correct me if I'm wrong. That's a lot of adding.

Average Marciano opponent 193 Tyson 215. A decent gap but not outrageous with modern training.

I get 192 and 223. Moreso, Tyson fought 5 guys under 200 pounds. Marciano fought 38 under 200. That is a more revealing stat.

You're wasting your time arguing with coljimar. "Facts" have no meaning to him, only how he chooses to interpret the data and his agenda. He will backpeddle and shift the goal post until you get sick of him.

Champion means best in the world. None of those guys were lineal champions I don't care if they held a belt that doesn't make them legitimate champions.

The only lineal champion under 6ft 4 since the mid 90s is Hasim Rahman who weighed 237 all the others were 240 plus
