At their prime who would win in a fight between Mike Tyson and Rocky Marciano?

The heavyweight lineage is as follows
    Lennox Lewis
    Hasim Rahman
    Lennox Lewis
    Wladimir Klitschko
    Tyson Fury
    Anthony Joshua

The only guy there under 6ft 4 is Rahman

I’ve got a theory for this but it’s kind of complicated. Most of the Marciano worship we see on this forum is only very indirectly race-related and the emphasis on his inhuman stamina/work ethic/power is also mostly incidental.

Anthony Joshua for example is 3 1/2 inches taller than Ali and roughly 34 pounds heavier that is actually a bigger size gap than that between Tyson and Marciano

What is this reason you keep referring to but won’t come out with? It’s ok let’s air it out.

Lol you know the reason. If I say the reason the irrational moderator will ban me. But he is your hero kid so keep believing this third rate hack 180 pound club fighter could beat modern sized heavyweights.

I mentioned the Moore KD? Where? Looks like you’re mistaken.

Athleticism is very important, but what’s more important is class. When dominators fight top class opponents, they often dominate less even if the opponent is smaller. Lewis couldn’t impose on Holyfield like he did his other opponents, despite him being one of the smallest fighters he fought. It’s called class. Some of Klitschkos hardest opponents were the smallest who had some class. This isn’t rocket science. This is a repeated pattern in boxing.

Tyson Fury was almost knocked out by 6'2 Steve Cunnigham and his claim to fame is beating a washed up Wlad. Lewis was knocked out 2 times ins his career by guys 6'2. Wladimir was knocked out 3 times in his career by guys 6'3 or under. Anthony Joshua only has 22 fights and his best wins came against a washed up 6'1 Povetkin and as washed up Wlad who got knocked out 3 times.

What is the reason? Word it in a certain genuine way and I’m sure you won’t get banned. They don’t care about other posters saying anything to or about me anyway.

You brought it up but are now too scared to go through with it? Nice dude. Cmon, let’s air it all out for everyone. Say it. Let’s go!

I’m not even white and my top 5 favorite boxers are black.

I just think highly of great boxers.

Seamus refers to the Rudy effect? Didn’t Rudy make like one play in that movie? We’re talking about a genuine world class lineal champion with a handful of defenses who looks awesome on film. This notion to compare him to Rudy is a reflection of the thinking some have that white people cant fight. I’ve never seen such an accomplished fighter be belittled as much as Marciano on his forum. Zero awe, all low landed critique. So who of us here is really misusing race to draw conclusions?

I’m not the one hung up on some race conspiracy, that’s all you guys, and your complicated identity issues. So please. You can miss me with that nonsense garbage.

And while you’re at it, try analyzing this fight as it would actually happen between Marciano and Tyson. Not using the most sensationalist points you could make, like Moore was 40, to lazily draw comic book conclusions to boost your favorite fighter in the laziest of fashions.

Muhammad Ali claimed Marciano would’ve been a tougher fight than Frazier. Never knew he had a favoritism towards white fighters. Because God forbid Marciano was actually a legit great fighter. Can’t be. His hair was too curly, and his appetite required too much spaghetti for that to be the case.

Well you are wrong. It is all based on his race. No human being has inhuman stamina, work ethic, and power. Also Rocky Marciano still is a 180 pounds. Lol so he could be the hardest punching 180 pound fighter ever (which he wasn't) That doesn't equate to him beating modern sized heavyweights.

This. Frazier himself admitted Marciano was better. Durham, who was Frazier's coach going into the Fight of the Century said the only better conditioned fighter than Frazier was Marciano.

The one I quoted that said most of his worship comes “indirectly from race?”

No, did you forget what you wrote?
