Frazier was faster of both hand and foot than Marciano and did not cut like him.
Moore didn't have that much to do with Foreman's training.
Peralta went the distance with just about everybody apart from a cut eye defeat to Pastrano and Foreman stopping him in their second fight His only ko loss was when 24 to power puncher Mina.
Peralta was ranked in the top ten and 34 when he went the distance with 15 fight George .He was stopped 3 times in116 fights.
Where was Ted Lowry rated when he went the distance with Rocky twice?
Chuvalo, Patterson ,and Bodell had vastly more experience than Foreman when they beat Forte.
Chuvalo fought him twice ,he had 57 & 65 fights to his name.
    Patterson 55
    Bodell 31
Foreman was an 11 fight novice.
Walcott easily ko'd the on the way out Shkor in 1 round ,who did Shkor fight for his last bout? Marciano.
Parmentier was a 3rd/4th rater who was stopped 7 times and never beat anyone of any note, his record is 18-12 -4.

Beats Tyson by crowding him...pretty simple really. Crowding and out enduring him.

No slower 185lbs fighter beats Tyson by crowding him. Marciano would be in a mess after a couple of rounds leaking blood and disorientated.

Marciano loses to Foreman imo never said he would win. I think he puts a better fight then Joe though. Joe was faster then Marciano but he was also easier to hit. Marciano also had more power in both hands.

I don't think Frazier was easier to hit than Marciano, nor do I think Marciano's left hook was as hard as Frazier's. Marciano's only advantage over Frazier ,and I believe it would make the difference, is he had two fisted power, hence I pick Marciano to beat Joe.

I don't see how Holyfield is relevant to this thread but anyway----
Holyfield was stronger than Tyson and its totally obvious when you watch their fights.
If you can't trust your own eyes,[ and if I was you I wouldn't ,] read the fight reports!

Holyfield is relevant because you asked what 185 pound fighter could crowd tyson and beat him...well Holyfield did. He gained weight when he moved up obviously and I would assume Marciano would as well. Just as I’d assume if Tyson fought in 1950 he wouldn’t weigh 220. These are assumptions just as the whole fantasy matchup is an assumption. I don’t begrudge anyone who picks tyson once again he was a great fighter. I just disagree on who was better.

He would beat Tua and Ibeabuchi by crowding too!

Unless otherwise specified ,fighters are matched as they actually were.therefore Holyfield would be 217/220lbs for Marciano giving him30+lbs weight advantage and 10" of reach, along with 4 inches of height.

Holyfield never weighed 185 lbs after he was 25 and he only had a dozen or so fights around that weight whereas he had 42 as a full blown heavyweight .
As I said he is not relevant to the discussion.

Completely unrealistic. Have you watched many of Marciano's fights recently? (the fights, not the highlights). He spends most of his time exactly at the range where Tyson would want him. Tyson would have a field day with Marciano's plodding, straight-ahead attack.

the logic is quite hypocritical on this thread. If we used everyone’s logic here Tyson would get flattened by the Klitschkos or Primo for that matter. Just be bigger and you win.

Holyfield actually appears to be 6'1 1/4 so less than 3 inches taller than Marciano. This was his listed height early in his career through his cruiserweight days.

And Marciano actually appears to be 5'4"... as long as we're going to make up measurements.

Really, was Marciano the only fighter ever correctly measured?
