At their prime who would win in a fight between Mike Tyson and Rocky Marciano?

Ah c'mon now. I agree with the genera conclusions of who would win.
But you are not being honest re: exaggerated the prime sizes of each.
Which was 187/188 for Rocky, prime Tyson was max 30 not 40 lbs. heavier.

And Lowry was beating, not really rocking...Rocky.
Also you must know enough about boxing to know Lowry did not come into the ring at 160.
Nowhere NEAR that. The lightest weight I saw for one of his fights with Marciano was 178.

    Be honest man.

think Ali would find that Joshua is a vastly more capable opponent than Terrell--quicker in hand speed, much more powerful, and better footwork. In his last fight Joshua stopped a guy who had never been stopped previously. Ali might have some success until he is tagged and knocked out.

I doubt it. Joshua has potential, but Terrell was way quicker than Joshua, had a much better jab, better chin, better ring efficiency, and had twice the professional experience Joshua currently has.

Joshua is still very green and makes too many mistakes. Povetkin, who was way past his prime exposed how weak Joshua's jab is and how sloppy Joshua's footwork is. Joshua's footwork isn't as bad as Parker's, which is the worst I've seen in years, but it needs work.

Joshua does have a good check hook that he uses to setup his right hand, but he would get toyed with by a prime Ali.

He didn't show a better chin given the tiny size of his opponents, Terrell's foes would be giving away 40 pounds to the guys Joshua is fighting.

When he turned pro 15 rds was the championship distance, as I said, so I don't understand where you get the idea that Tyson would have to later anything. But I do think he'd KO Rocky.

Tyson was better at landing punches and he landed with more precision and power. That is what I think would count here.

Terrell fought better opposition than Joshua. Besides Wlad and Povetkin, who were old and past prime Joshua has fought nothing but novices and fat slobs compared to the guys Terrell fought.

Also, Terrell fought and beat guys of all sizes. Gerhard Zech 6'5" 214-220 lbs; Young Jack Johnson 6'3" 235-240 lbs, and plenty and several other fighters were well over 200 lbs.

Considering all of the mistakes Joshua makes and how slow he is guys like Doug Jones, Ali, Foley, and Davila would box Joshua's ears off.

"The crowd of 3,696 booed the decision and some wondered if Lowry had thrown the fight. "There were some questions as to whether Lowry, who had come close to knocking out Marciano in the second, third and fourth rounds, deliberately bogged down in his attack after the fourth stanza," Thomas wrote. "Lowry stopped using his uppercut after the fourth. He went into a shell and only occasionally landed power shots. He seemed to be carrying Marciano."

I never understood the Moore 38 and his mother 40 thing. Why on earth would you not believe your own mother in this matter

Tyson was not training for 15 rounds and he never showed himself to be a very good 12 round fighter late in fights.

Tyson has some of the fastest hands ever at heavyweight.

I should think she would be the more reliable source.

If it would go to a drag out war over 15 rds, I think Rocky's chances would be great. I just think the chances are very slim it would be a drag out war. I think Tyson would finish it within 3 rds. He would get off first, he would land and I don't see Rocky standing up to it.
