    You're kidding, right? I like Calzaghe and think he gets WAY too much criticism from some fans, but there's no comparison here.

    I love Joe but Toney takes this one. However if he wins his next 2 or 3...

    I think toney would still edge him but then it would be real close.

    James Toney only made a few defences of any tittles he won. Calzaghe did for 10 years.

    Toney has the better legacy imo.

    But head to head at either 168 or 175 i think Joe outworks Toney over 12.

    Toney, and I'm a big Calzaghe fan (wasn't always but he's won me over). But come on as for winning his first title when he beat Lacy, does anyone consider Lacy (vacant title win over Vanderpool) more of a champ than Calzaghe? Or does anyone doubt JC would have wiped his arse with Ottke?

    Toney was too fat to bother to dominate a division. He has left no legacy in any particular division. Great, but nonetheless, grossly overrated fighter.
