Not even close Toneys record littered with tough proven fighters his beating of Holyfield alone is greater than anything Slappy has ever done.

this isnt even debatable the only thing calzaghe has over toney is that hes undefeated but im sure JT would be if he fought the richie woodhalls and tocker pudwills of the world..id have thought that the hopkins fight would have shown all of joes fans that hes not as great as they thought he was god knows there was ample evidence in the fight to prove it

To be honest most of the heavies in the 80s, 90s, early 00's were more then obviously juiced up.

Yes, but you also previously stated today that Joe Calzaghe was the greatest boxer in the world currently lacing up a pair of gloves.

I agree though. The 'roids do leave a mark on his record no doubt; but you can only penalise him for what he was busted. There use and value is also limited at the lower weights as well.

I'm a brit (legally anyway, not ethnically), I voted Toney. He doesn't have the unbeaten record, he doesn't have the countless defences of a bogus belt but what he does have are wins over non-ancient quality opponents which Calzaghe doesn't have.
