At this moment in time, who's resume and legacy is the better? Bruno or Haye?

Haye, but Bruno's best days are ahead of him.

The Bonecrusher fight was very similar to the Thompson fight: Bruno was a novice going into the ring with an old veteran (although Smith's career had been mostly in the amateurs) with a sneaky and powerful shot that could come from nowhere and hurt even iron-chinned boxers.

However, the end was more similar to the Spoon fight, where Bruno got tired and took a long, brutal series of punches. Haye wasn't knocked out by Thompson, but floored and then beaten repeatedly on his feet, similar to Frank against Witherspoon.

His name is Tomasz Boning and has been so ever since the Fraudley fight.

Haye also fought that guy at heavyweight. And probably some other guys as well. However, Boning is by far his most accomplished heavyweight opponent.

Its Bonin and has been since he was born!! :patsch

For me Bruno has the edge purely because Haye hasn't fought nearly enough at HW to be judged. :good

If Haye never fights again he we still go down as a unified champ and the man at CW. Obviously if we are just comparing HW resume and legacy its a walkover for frank.

I wonder if Bruno could have made cruiser. It simply wouldn't have been worth it for him back then (no money in the division, and few cared about the division). I wonder if he could have made the weight though, and if he could what he would have been like down there.

Early Bruno before he became really muscle laden (against former HW champ).

I doubt he would have been any good at 190. Had the cruiser limit been 200 then he might have made it for a while at least. And would have been a force I'm sure till evander came along at least.

Haye fought, in the latter half of his resume, an older, mid 30s, blown up version of the policeman RJJ gets so much sh1te for fighting. That quality of opponent doesn't score many points resume wise.

At this moment in time, personally, I think Bruno's resume and achievements are slightly the greater of the two. Of course that may well change if Haye goes on to make a noise in the heavies.

At this time would have to say Bruno's legacy is greater as he has faced better opponents and is a former world champion not to mention loved by the bristish puplic , Haye still has time to surpass that
