Pacquiao is the better fight and better win but thats not what this thread is about

Khan has a comparable reach to Mayweather which would be key

Mayweather only has a 1 inch reach advantage against Khan

Its just that his reach is near Floyds, one of Floyds big advantages that he nearly always has he bigger reach amd by a significant amount this would be gone with Khan, and with Khan being a bit taller aswell may give him the edge in that department.

Corley, Judah, Oscar, and Mosley had comparable or longer reaches than Mayweather. All of them lost decisively. Khan is going to need more than just a slighlty shorter reach than Mayweather to beat him.

All of them actually had a bit of succss, Judah nearly swept the first 5 and got a knockdown, Mayweather had problems with Oscars jab. Mosley nearly knocked his head off and I didnt see Corley but I heard he nailed him too.

Mayweather is a fair bit bigger than Judah, and Khan is taller than both. Same with Mosley and Corley even though their about the same height as Floyd. De La hoya is the only one wth the bigger reach and height and he was able to use it.
Khans in his prime, mosley and oscar where finished. Taller younger with a lot of speed, shoudnt be an easy night for floyd

LOL is this an actual question? Khan is a mediocre B-grade boxer, dunno what makes people put his name next to people like Floyd or Pac. I seriously don't get it.

As talented as Khan is, he hasn't shown anything to be a better opponent than Pacquiao. He's almost like a bigger version of Jorge Linares, extremely talented and has/had potential to do this and that, but mostly fell short and lost fights he wasn't supposed to. He hasn't even beaten an elite yet since Maidana and that was the one dimensional Maidana. I don't think he could even beat the current version of Maidana either.

Khan. Seriously. Khan is way taller and longer, he's as fast or faster than Manny, and has an higher workrate than the actual version of Paquiao.

The jab is not even comparable. Paquiao compensate with other things, but Khan's jab is terrific and one of the best.

Really, Khan style is based on boxing, and he would do good against a no-pressure, little power opponent like Mayweather.

And mind you, i don't even particularly like Khan. I just respect his speed and skills. A pressure fighter, a brawler, someone with power wuld give him troubles. Not someone like May, who he could beat to the punch.

Don't know. They may be about the same since Pac has been KO'd, slowed down, and doesn't have the same power he used to. Khan has 4 inches more reach, which could make a difference the way Mayweather likes to lean and shoulder roll.

Floyd would be the most skilled fighter Khan's ever fought. He's MUCH more skilled than Alexander or Malignaggi. I like how people overlook that.

Khan's jab is decent, nothing more. Floyd's fought guys with better jabs, like Oscar. It's not one of the best. It's not on the level of Wlad, Floyd, or Brook.

Judah did not nearly sweep the first five rounds. He barely won round 1. He definately won rounds 2 and 4. He decisively lost round 3 and rounds 5-11. He was soundly beaten and landed under 90 punches over 12 rounds. And Mayweather is not a fair bit bigger than Judah. They are pretty much the same size.

Oscar put up a good fight against Mayweather, but he also clearly lost despite Oscar being much bigger than Floyd. He's also clearly a better fighter than Khan.

Mosely landed a couple of good punches but also lost just about every round. Corely had a good rally in the 4th but arguably lost that same round, along with every other round in the fight. If the goal is just to see Khan win a round or two, then perhaps his reach is significance. However, that alone will not keep him in the fight.

Mosley only won the first two rounds. After that Floyd swept the rest of the fight.
