It wasn't an amatuer fight, as has already been stated. It was a different league of pro with no headgear and pro gloves. Wilder was struggling with everyone I mentioned.
There are levels to this game and Hrgovic is closer to Dubois than Usyk. We can get rid of the Hrgovic hype by letting him fight any of the above.
Are you kidding me? If / when he bests Usyk there will more fans like me. See ya newbie or should I call you Alt?
Joyce would be his most gruelling fight, though one I'd expect him to win. But it would take years off his career. And yes I know he already beat Joyce in the WSB, but that was a decade ago. Usyk was a lot lighter and quicker, and Joyce was a lot less experienced. Plus it was over five rounds. It's not really pertinent to expect exactly the same outcome today. Fury would be stylistically his toughest test. The rest pose little to no threat.
I'm an alt because I don't spend all my days on a forum?? Good one. Hrgovic arguably lost to Zhang he is a 3rd tier HW, Sanchez beats him nearly to death.

Fury has the best shout due to his reach, height & most importantly ability to use those attributes in ways that will cause Usyk issues. That said, I still think Fury will struggle with how much faster or hand and foot Usyk is compared to anyone else he has fought, and will look slow and clumsy next to the master technician. What is most interesting to me about that fight is that Usyk has so far always dominated his opponent in the championship rounds 10-12, and his engine and workrate is so good he can go through the gears there and really drown his opponent, putting the result beyond doubt. So the big questions with Fury are:- 1) How will Fury's gas tank be in those championship rounds if he has to work much harder than he is accustomed? 2) Will Fury be able to clinch, lean, body work Usyk enough such that he physically can't do his usual 10-12 super sayan? 3) The longer it is till they fight will Uysks style hold up, or will his body betray him? It will eventually... 4) Is Fury's IQ, footwork and speed better than Usyk (and others like myself) think when he elevates his game to 110% 5) Can Usyk hurt / get enough of Fury's respect to make him dictate the pace? i.e. can Fury just walk Usyk down Kronk style and use his size attributes to get the KO and bypass that 10-12 question entirely?
All or none. Its up to him to how he will succeed to handle during the time (other 3 or 4 years before the deserved retire) the several defences he will do in the future against dangerous fighters like Wilder, Ruiz, Joyce and other given that coward of Fury wont face neither one of those among surgery of the elbow and other excuses he will put on the table of the WBC.
Don't laugh But I think Beterbiev can give him a good fight even today if it becomes a close up fight. Usyk is slower at HW and his power from CW hasn't really travelled up either whereas Beterbiev is still pretty mobile and hits hard enough to get anyone's attention. This content is protected
