Not having Olivares in that list is a travesty and pretty much destroys any credibility it has.

Sanchez is my #1 on the list. Both Gomez and Nelson went on to win titles @ higher weights, Lopez was a very feared man on a nice win streak, and Sanchez made him turn old overnight. Back to Gomez, that guy was not just a power puncher but he had skills that are overlooked because of his power. I am an big fan of Chavez and JMM, but Sanchez won all of his championship fights without controversy.

Its very close and I'm loath to try to pick between the two. Marquez has the right to boast three legitimate title in differant divisions and two even fights with Pacman and wins over very quality fighters, but its hard to argue with what Sanchez accomplished. That being said, if JMM can pick up a win over the Hatton-Pacman winner, he has the clear edge.

it makes me laugh how people think Pac fans will be bothered by JMM's greatness. For me as a fan of Pacquiao, JMM's greatness is obvious. Even though Pac beat him twice, only a great fighter can hang with Pac the way he did and especially twice. And every time JMM goes out there and performs at the elite level i am proven more right in my assessment of Pacquiao's ability.

Bear in mind that deep down Pac's style is tailor made for JMM. Look how agressive guys like Baby Bull are torn apart. Look how southpaws like Casamayor are dismantled. Yet here comes an agreesive southpaw in Pac and still he outpoints JMM twice.

JMM is a great fighter. On the same level as Morales and Barrera.

I'd put Ricardo on the same level as these guys too. I used to think he was a step above because of how flawless he looked sometimes but he never had the level of competition they did.
