At what age did Floyd start to tarnish his legacy by taking/searching for easy fights or fights weighed heavily in his favour? It is not a question of if this happened but when. For instance making Canelo drop 2 weight classes therefore giving Mayweather a huge advantage.

At what age or which fight did Mayweather start to tarnish his legacy?

After the Castillo rematch. Prime Castillo is the greatest win on his resume by a country mile.
Mayweather didn't fight a 'good' name that has at least some impact on legacy until Zab Judah. That's 4 years.
Can you imagine if Lomachenko fought guys worse than Marriaga (who gave Oscar Valdez a razor close fight), for four years?
He took apart Gatti in one of the biggest demolition jobs I've seen in the ring in that time, but Gatti at that stage of his career was shot to pieces.

This. Any boxer past or present would line up to "tarnish" their legacy to be paid $200 million for six fights like Floyd was.

He became a cherry picker when he left lightweight. He became an out and out ducker when he became a welterweight.

Bout 2008 or 2009 I think. Anyway, it wasn't long after he beat De La Hoya.

Smoking Joe Frazier is a HOF and ATG ,but he died broke living in his gym. Floyd paid for his funeral
Genaro Hernandez died and his family had debts. Arum paid for his medical bills and Floyd paid for his funeral.
When Diego Corrales died, Floyd helped his family and still does.

The point of the story is legacy don't mean much if you don't have the money. Many fighters have great legacies and no money. Mayweather has a great legacy and all the money. If not why are their so many media people out to hate him?
