manny pacquiao and floyd mayweather have been world class boxers for more than a decade now. they started getting their multiple titles in 1998. but we can safely say that PBF's prime started from the moment he won his first world title and retired in his prime..

how about manny pacquiao? when did his prime started? some say barerra lost to a pre-prime pacquiao...

pacquiao's prime maybe just be going in its third year but it doesn't be that PBF had more longetivity as they are world class boxers since 1998...

I remember Larry Merchant put Manny on his P4P list after the Ledwaba fight. I thought he was smoking crack.

Morales 2, he looked to be mastering his own style.

Yep...have to agree his overall skill level was starting to get noticeably better by the Morales II fight.

I also didnt see any kind of drop in speed, power and explosiveness from his 122 days..so Im inclined to think even at 126-130 he was still in his physical prime.

I just dont see it ay...even if there is not really a way to measure these things quantitatively.

I just reckon he was in against a higher calibre of opposition once he hit feather.

basically, here is the simplest answer. pac's physical peak have already passed when he developed his boxing/technical skills. just imagine if his physical and technical peak arrived at the same time.

IM Picking he was starting to learn everything at the start of Morales II. On Barrera he was just jab jab straight left... On Marquez we all know how limited Pac is and didnt manage to win enough to get out the controversial thing. On Morales I, he just freaking outbox by the TRUE MEXICAN WARRIOR! And also in my opinion Pac is starting to get a hang on Freddie Roach style changing in Morales I, he freaking can't throw that right hook!
