There's no need to engage with you silly b*llocks, you're doing yourself enough damage without anybody else's help.
Calling everyone liars and morons, you stupid little kid.
There are posters here that have been following, practising, reading, and writing about boxing longer than you have been out of your Dad's ball bag!
"Gibbons and Brennan ran from Dempsey"
    "Dempsey was a counter puncher".
    You ignorant little twerp!lol

I call an apple an apple. If you don't like it go back into your safe space and pet some kittens.

After 68 years your boxing knowledge is still ****. You think because you read a newspaper account ,of a fight we have on film, that you are special. You ain't nothin' Mcvey!

On top of that you're the biggest hypocrite I know. In this post alone you said I am damaging myself for calling everyone liars and morons then turn around and call me a "stupid little kid". Well this "Stupid little kid" has been tying your backwards ass arguments in knots!

You want to talk about fight films ?
How about we discuss your statement that Brennan and Gibbons ran from Dempsey and avoided him like the plague?

I call a stupid little kid just what he is. Calling you what you are doesn't damage me, it just agrees with the consensus! The arrogance of youth and all the ignorance to go with it too. I haven't seen you win a single debate on this forum yet! And you sure aren't here to make friends and influence people!:ohno

As far as super heavyweights...let's see...maybe g Godfrey...even guys above 210 have difficulty delivering correct punches with power and snap with any facility...some do...boxing is just not a real big mans sport most times...just the way it is...mma different... Thanks

Ok, I call you a liar and a moron. Just what you are. Doesn't damage me in the slightest.

I don't care about influencing people. It doesn't help them or me in any way.

If you don't like what I post or think I insult people without being provoked then DON"T REPLY.

Your thread title doesn't imply -- it flat-out states that you believe there is a 'correct technique.' Someone had the audacity to question what you meant by that. You replied, as quoted, that there is only one correct technique for each punch.

At that point, YOU introduced the concept. The discussion has centered upon your absurd (and proven wrong) assertion.

You really don't have the intellectual capacity to carry on a conversation with someone who disagrees with you without resorting to insults, do you? That's a shame. It's a useful social skill, not to mention it's just the better way of doing things.

You should treat people with respect not because of who they are (or whether their opinions differ from yours), but because of who you are (or who you aspire to be). I hope you figure that out some day.

Yes there is a such thing as correct technique. Do you deny this?

I have demonstrated repeatedly that there is more than one way to correctly throw a punch -- jab, hook, uppercut, etc.

You said there is only one way to throw each punch and any other way is wrong.

    I've quoted that several times.

I deny that there is only one correct way to throw each punch. Do you still deny that there's more than one way to throw a jab?

This is going around in circles.
