    Sonny Liston had skinny legs?
That's the first time I've ever seen that wrote.
I thought he actually had unusually , thick powerful legs , relative to most of his era.

He technically beat Ruiz and Rahman but those decisions were overturned. Not sure why you would list Stiverne, Chisora or Helenius who weren't any better than Oquendo or Guinn.

He beat Grant and Harrison. So what? You glossed over the fact that Toney did enough to beat Ruiz and Rahman. They were better than any of the journeymen on your lists.

    Very good!

However measurements can vary quite a bit & may be self reported.
I never saw Frazier listed as under a 15" calf minimum, including the famous one with Ali. And his thigh there listed as 26.5". He was definitely more bulky from the butt & below, unlike Tyson who had a proportionate upper body.
    https://www.google.com/search?q=did...AIB&sourceid=chrome&source=chrome.ob&ie=UTF-8

Also Ken Norton is listed with bigger legs in the measurements I can find-but people express surprise that Foreman is not listed as somewhat larger.
While I recall comeback Foreman being listed as shorter & an insane 12" wrist.

These things can be really inaccurate.
BUT I do believe the big legs listed for...Liston are approximately correct.

Which STILL begs the question: if Sonny had so much apparent overall bulk in muscle & was not very lean, why at even just slightly over 6', did he not WEIGH somewhat more?

Maybe like the sauropods & modern birds his bones were hollowed out for structural support while minimizing the poundage?

After all as discussed ad nauseum in a thread related to his age, he may have inherited ancient DNA, since I recall divining that he may be the earliest Homo Sapien...Think I triangulated his age-consistent with paleontology & modern dating methods-as reaching 314,743 years old!

Liston's thigh measurement was bigger than Ali, Holmes, Foreman, Holyfield and a load of others. While i wouldn't call his legs large, they are anything but skinny.

I agree! Assuming those measurements are accurate, which the eye ball test says they are.
But having seen measurements & lifted for decades, those ARE large legs.
Certainly if they are *non-obese* & not even overweight measurements.

    Tyson had large legs correct?
I think his 27" by 18" is likely accurate.
Liston having marginally larger thighs is BIG.

Again, since not at all fat (although not lean). Because not even steroid monsters can nearly match the very heavy in size!
And measured correctly, halfway down the thigh.

Started with Bowe and Lewis in the 90's .. in the 70's Ali was large and George Foreman was huge ... in the 80's Witherspoon, Page, Thomas, Dokes, Tubbs, Holmes .. were all 6' 3" and varied in weight with condition ... You also had 6' 6" Cooney and 6' 5" Williams .. By the 90's many jumped in to the 230's plus and guys 6'4" , 6' 5" , ect ... then the Klitschko's and since most are all huge be in in height or weight or both ..

I'm saying that the combination of height, reach, weight & talent hasnt gotten to the point that an elite heavyweight would be at a major disadvantage. An ordinary heavyweight, absolutely, but not an elite/ATG heavyweight.

Case isn't closed. You always leave yourself a back door to escape. It doesn't take long before you're back in your closet sniffing your own farts again. The point of this thread was to discuss size advantages. My point is that Toney did very well for a 5'9" blown up MW at HW. He outboxed Ruiz and Rahman and lost on decisions being overturned. Now you're defending Wilder who is 6'7" 225 and not a small HW. He fought C-level competition for 38 fights which explains his KO ratio.

Last time I proved you wrong you had an emotional breakdown and accused me of stalking because you insisted Johnson didn't struggle with Battling Jim and demanded proof from me. When I showed you you're own post where you said he struggled with him, you almost had to be resuscitated. Funny how you singled out my post again when I've already suggested you put me on ignore. It will add years to your life and I won't have to go on embarrassing you.
