At what point did modern boxers surpass old ones?

    100%. Also A lot of would be boxers are doing MMA. I think its pretty rationale to believe the roster of up and coming boxers are probably a small % compared to what it was back in the 80s etc. When the HW title of the world meant something really special. Now it's like the heavyweight chumpion of the world and barely any of them worthy of selling PPV even. And a look at all the classes? Man there was Tyson, Evander, Lewis, Barerra, Morales, De La Hoya, Tua, Roy Jones jr, Hopkins, Trinidad, Vargas around the same time all hightlighting PPVs. Now who is there? GGG, Canelo, .....Anthony Joshua, I don't even think Lomancheko or Crawford have had PPVs yet lol correct me if I'm wrong.
