Well he was kinda forced into this fight by the powers that be(therefore the catchweight) so he might not be totally aware of what he's gotten himself into.

At what point will canelo realize he's in over his head. It seems canelo won't get the deer in head lights as he's composed it would seem, then he says things like I'm Anxious to fight. Ortiz, Guerrero were guys that all this media exposure and pressure effected them on fight night mentally, canelo seemed to be cool n calm and used to being the guy. But still this is his biggest fight first headlining PPV, first time he's getting major exposure outside Mexico. I wonder how he handles all this when he makes statements like he's anxious, Floyd lives in this world it's just another fight for him.

Floyd and Manny have spent their entire careers relying on fans like this who buy into the hype of severely overmatched opponents

You actually believe his bosses would let him fight another Ghost-type fighter
after the disappointing PPV numbers he did:lol:

I'm not sure this the fight floyd wanted, but it was one he couldn't avoid. I'm surprised he took the fight now, you would think they would build on it for next year. But for floyd its probably the best for floyd to take it now, canelo is still a little green and learning on the job and floyd ain't getting any younger.

I disagree with this way of thinking, even Floyd himself had to go through the whole "stage of this magnitude" for the first time with De La Hoya.

I think you will find out that it is Canelo that is in over his head. Canelo will have to change tactics which will lead to him being knocked out.

True, I don't think it will effect him much, but he's said it took work to get use to all this media attention interrupting his training camp. I believe canelo is mentally strong so he can Handel it, he's confident and truly believes things will go his way. Hes a guy that's never had things go bad, he's use to bullying and bartering his opponents. Floyd is on a different level from anyone he's faced, I just wonder how he reacts when he's not having his way.
