At what point is Wardley no longer the "Underdog"

Underdog against Usyk (massive underdog), Kabayel (big underdog) and Dubois (slight underdog).

Most likely underdog against returning Fury (we don't know what he has left) and Ituama (don't know how good he is yet).

AJ would be 50-50.

 

I'm really not confident in Wardley beating Zhang. Its stylistically a very bad match up for him.

 

Love to see it, this would be the old man's first real title shot

 

When enough people bet on him to move the line to make him the favorite.

I think Wardley would be the favorite vs Joshua at this point

 

This would be great -- two big guys with big power, the one who is a better boxer growing weaker and losing confidence as an opponent starts troubling him and hurting him, the one who is the worse boxer growing stronger and more aggressive as an opponent troubles him and hurts him.

I will say though that if Usyk knocked out Dubois twice, Wardley could one-shot him. Especially if the shot occurs when Wardley is in rage mode after being beat up for a few rounds.

 

I'm not going to make out I heavily favoured Wardley over Parker.

But I also couldn't understand why Parker was considered such a strong favourite ?

Ok Wardley hadn't really had many notable wins but Parker for me has never been a stand out Heavyweight.

Don't get me wrong Parker is solid and is a good all rounder but he doesn't really have any stand out attributes in speed, power, defence, etc.

Not to mention historically Parker has never looked that impressive vs British Heavyweights.

Barely got past Hughie Fury.

Lost to Whyte.

Got a gift decision vs Chisora in their 1st fight.

Beaten up by Joyce.

Lost to Joshua in a poor effort.

So I was baffled that somehow Parker would be a big favourite against a 6'5 KO puncher like Wardley.

As for Wardley as a whole I do think he has a good chance vs the fellow British Heavyweights like Joshua and Dubois.

No chance vs Usyk.

I'd also favour Kabayel to beat him.

But to be honest apart from Usyk the Heavyweight division isn't that strong atm Joshua is faded, Fury is retired, Wilder is shot.

So once Usyk is retired Wardley can really start to fill his boots I think.

 

Usyk is taking a money fight instead. He will return to easily lift the belt off of Wardley to become 3 times undisputed. Wardley will lose soon no matter who he fights.

 

What money ??? Wardley would fill wembley , kabayel as well . Riyadh is not interested in usyk vs wilder - so just usa to make it hapöen at all . Ok , maybe ukrainian goverment will fill the purse for this joke .

Wardley is a bum. He is the equivalent of a prime wilder. Neither will ever be found to have had a prime. Odds are Wardley loses his first or second defense. Btw, he never won the title in the ring. Pathetic
