    What is the point of stripping him? by the time you strip him, he'll be back in a month or so. And he would still be the best MW, so.... it's pointless.

    They would strip him if they thought someone else would bring in bigger $'s. You KNOW they were salivating over Kelly's $3 mill purse for this one. Strip him and what are the next guys down the list bringing in? $500K is probably more than they make for a handful of fights?

    He should take some time out IMO, then maybe come back at SMW if he still has the desire, he is stiffling an already weak division
    MW is becoming more stale by the day and KP out of the way would breath new life into the division and give it a chance to rebuild.
    With the number 1 slot up for grabs id like to see which unproven prospects can step up and stake a claim to being world class.:bbb
