Taylor has to keep his left hand up. He ate right hands all night, his chances are slim to when the rematch unless he does some serious strenght training. Pull ups, push ups etc.

    1) Pavlik was hit with a good overhand right, that hurt him. Then he got "cute" and went to stick his chin out. Bad timing, because JT was throwing at the same time. Pavlik went down. JT great shot. Pavlik was up in less than 2 secs. Took a standing 8 and went into survival mode. He showed GREAT recovery skills. Survived the rd and went back the corner and laughed about what just occurred. Came out and won the rd 3.
    2) I believe Miranda is also a hard hitting MW, but what is your point? Pav wasn't knocked down by him.
    3) JT is a big MW and to say he doesn't hit hard is only your opinion and a weak one at that.

Lastly, I don't see much changing for II. I think the higher weight plays better for Pav who showed he was able to back JT up with his jab. The right hand will find its mark. The last fight they both ended uo weighing in around 166 anyway. KP = KO rd 7.

This should be another good fight. I see Pavlik catching and KOing him....maybe as soon as 8.

No one is making you answer it are they? Go make a poll about when taylor is going to knockout pavlik--see what you get there. Bottom line--pavlik is the superior boxer and that is why he is-"The Middlweight Champion of the World" ---------------Not taylor.

My thoughts exactly. Taylor finishing abilities cost him the fight. After Pavlik was down, Jermaine didnt land many flush punches and allowed Pavlik to survive the round. A better finisher would have closed the show.

After a one sided beat down Taylor gets KTFO in the 5th. I've stated my reasoning on a few other threads. I'd wouldn't bet on the exact round, but I would put money on Pavlik by KO or TKO. However, JT has got balls the size of cantelopes! Pavlik has fought some tough sons-o-bitches, and I am almost positive JT is THE ONLY ONE who ever asked for a rematch.

Taylor by UD, he is the better boxer in there. Taylor knows he messed up the first time and is now going to stick to boxing his oppenent, instead of trying punch with a puncher. Manny will have him ready for this fight, expect Taylor to box his way to victory.
