We all know Pac rarely gets much love (except from *******s) in fantasy fights. I've always attributed this to the fact that since his rise to fame, he never really dominated a single weight division. He won't win any WW fantasy fights because he only had 1 WW fight against Oscar (which many view more as a circus act). Same goes for jWW and LW with only 1 win apiece against Hatton and Diaz (spectacular as they were). At 126 and 130 it's a bit of a mixed bag, it's here where he faced his best competition, but it's also here where he had his only loss since his rise to fame and it is also here where he had extremely close fights against JMM where no one can seem to agree on the results for both fights. So you can't really say he dominated those divisions. It seems like his stint at 122 was by far his most dominant weight class, where he was able to defend his belt numerous times. But while he did face good competition, he didn't face any big names so his stay at this weight is mostly obscure except to his die hard fans. What do you guys think? In the future, after Pac retires, when people bring up his name, what weight class will be associated to him?
yeah me too He accomplished the most at 130 Was at his fastest at 126 Strongest at 140 not to mention 4 linear titles in 4 different weight classes Hes a fighter without a weightclass
Based on what I've read here on the forums: Pac will win against Valuev, Wlad and Vitali but will lose against Duran, Chavez, SRL, Trinidad and Koki Kameda Sounds about right to me
PAC is/was the man at 4 different weight divisions and has titles in 6 different weight divisions... 140 lbs. - RING/IBO light welterweight title (LINEAL TITLE) 135 lbs. - WBC lightweight title 130 lbs. - RING/WBC super featherweight title (LINEAL TITLE) 126 lbs. - RING featherweight title (LINEAL TITLE) 122 lbs. - IBF super bantamweight title 115 lbs. - WBC flyweight title (LINEAL TITLE) He's a weight division jumping freak... .
he will be remembered as the freak of nature but what is behind really his success and dominating performances while jumping from weight to weight is his superb discipline as a boxer.. does anybody else noticed that being disciplined in everything is the most difficult thing to do?.it's not even a secret component to achieving success, it's just too damn difficult to maintain..
Id have to say Featherweight at the moment !!!! Its too difficuilt to say whether Pac can up to 147 maximum and take on the worlds best as DLH was a weight drained punch bag and Hatton was out of his depth !!!!! I fancy Cotto stop the Pacman steam train but if he doesnt who knows where the steam train will end up !!!!!! hopefully on the right end of Mayweather TKO !!!!!!!
Last option for me. Pac's gonna be remembered for doing well jumping from weight to weight and dominating.
