    If you mean where did he perform best,you'll probably find his defining performance came at 130.

    Possibly,but Arguello is the GOAT in that division.

    welter. the best at 154 would be too big for him. he can still beat most jr middles but the division has no real standout talent thats been tested in fire, once top dog gets sorted out, he will be too big for floyd.

    I think Magic is saying that he was phenomenally talented as a SFW and not implying that he has an ATG resume at the weight.

    I'd say 140/147. At 130 he was more offensively capable, but his defensive guard and inside-fighting ability made him a much more complete and versatile fighter at the higher weights.

    His speed, timing and ring IQ are all near unmatched. Just looking in from the outside, I don't see how he'd be beat at 130lbs, I just don't.

    Arguello was a great, great fighter at the weight who achieved more than Floyd, but h2h.. as great as Arguello was, I'd have to pick Floyd to beat him, but only ever so narrowly.
