Holding at ransom?? PAC was not even talking to Mosley... It's Mosley who freely announced to the whole world that he wants to fight PAC at 140...
Correct !!!!!!! But we will never know the true Pacquiao if he keeps fighting weight drained fighters , if he wants to fight the best WW's in the world which is clearly the idea he should fight them @147 and not at a poxy catch weight , im glad Cotto has told him to f#*k off !!!! , but the rest of the field seem hell bent on securing a fight with him and its clear Arum wants nothing to do with Floyd !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yup. Floyd is going to fight JMM. Yet Floyd is currently weighing only 1-2lbs heavier than the heaviest fighter JMM has ever faced. Floyd weighs less than Pac. :hi:
That's the risk he takes, the marquee fighters are in the 147 class, that's unfortunate for Pac but if he wants them, he's going to have to take a risk. So far it's been paying off for him.
Look im not defending Floyd Mayweather in fact im a Floyd hater , but at least he had the balls to say im now a Welterweight which means i apply my trade at 147 lbs , unlike Pacquiao who by the way is heavily influenced by Freddie Roach (in fact its fair to say Roach 100% picks his fights and weight classes involved) , he is constantly looking for an upper hand in terms of the weight issue its pathetic . If he doesnt want to fight at 147 fight a 140 otherwise keep his business out of the WW division !!!!!!!!!!!!!
enzo complaining about Pac-Mosley needs to be a catchweight because of the size advantage but makes fun of Mayweather-JMM despite the fact that Mayweather weighs less than Pac and is closer in size to JMM than Pac is to Mosley. rofl:rofl
bottom line is pac, mosely and cotto all wants a big payday... if they want the fight then they should all be willing to compromise. The thing is pac currently holds the cards...
:huh pac was campaining at SFW that time, so it's not his problem if his opponent/s (which was/were also fighting at that weight) didn't rehydrate that much. but pac now is campaining at JWW and mosley/cotto are at WW, different situation. hope you get my point. floyd was campaining at WW, so it's his problem if his opponents outweigh him
So now that makes it fair? I can understand ring size, gloves, that ****. But weight? It's fair to Pac that he should get to fight these fighters that aren't at 100%? So Floyd who weighs less than Pac should have no issue demanding catchweights then right? I mean he does weigh less than Pac and is giving up more weight.
I know its not an issue, I dont really care, but it now matters that he's not hydrating the same weight. I get your point. But if he doesn't want to fight them when they are at 100% dont fight them at all. That doesn't the fact that he weighs less than Pac and gives up more weight.
Nope, Pac wouldn't be at his best at 145 - and there's every chance Cotto wouldn't either. And your point about Floyd is TOTALLY irrelevant.
