At what weight, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez has a better chance of beating Floyd?

I think Mayweather vs Alvarez is a good fight in all fairness (at 154). Although he's been protected somewhat by GBP, Canelo looks to be a genuinely good fighter and hasn't failed to impress me yet. He's shown a good chin, good power, good speed, underpinned by the high standard of heart you get with Mexican fighters, he's a good & legitimate opponent.

I'll give Mayweather credit if he takes the fight at 154. Obviously you'd favor him to win but to step out of his comfort 147 zone and fight Canelo deserves props. It's not the biggest, nor the 2nd biggest fight that he can make right now, but it's definately top 4/5 and I for one will never complain seeing Mayweather in action (no homo).

Nah Floyd schools him regardless of the weight but at 154 his chance of upsetting is bigger than lightweight guerrero's chances at 147.

Canelo is a solid 15-20 lbs heavier than Floyd.

Canelo is a very big LMW.
    Floyd is a small welter.

Canelo has no chance whatsoever against Mayweather, which is why Floyd will certainly choose him as his next opponent.

154 if any. Floyd will come in at 149 or 150 and still outclass the young Mexican. Horrible, Horrible fight, but if Pac/May can't be done I'd rather see Canelo or better yet, Cotto get the shot than Guerrero.:patsch

154..floyd knocks him out at 147...

Canelo will have a lot of trouble making 147-he will pay in the ring too.

He has no chance at any weight. He is another Golden Boy Hype Job Disgrace with no Chin. None. He also has terrible defense and nowhere near the speed needed to deal with Floyd. He'll be picked apart and likely stopped late after taking a tremendous hiding.

Weight doesn't matter. Alvarez won't win.
