It became ver apparent in 8th and 9th. Do you think Floyd has the balls to come back and fight Margo?

round 7 was a pretty bad round for cotto. i rewatched it and felt that at the beginning of round 11, the fight was still up for grabs. but cotto was already spent and was caught again on the ropes.

You are right Cotto will and dont be suprised if he rebounds from his lose quickly! He needs to learn how to clinch if he had done he may have won the fight.

turning point in this fight was round 7 up until then cotto had won nearly all the rounds apart from the second round, the pressure got to him in the end.

Floyd didnt have the balls to fight him before he retired, what would change Floyds perspective? Bottom line in my eyes Tony would crush Floyd, Floyd would do better than Cotto with his speed, but the way Tony pressures you, you might get off a counter as he is comming in but the second and third counter you throw will have Zero effect becuase your being pushed back, your feet are not set when that is happening.
Floyd will never fight this man, Chin, Power, Work Rate equals the death of Floyd and the birth of a over looked star.

End of 10 or 11th, he hurt him in the 7th and took over at that stage but Cotto recovered and had a very good 10th until he got hurt at the very end of the 10th.

I thought it was pretty competitive up to the 6th round but I saw Tony leaving his mark as early as the second. That second round was hell for Cotto.

You must have 20/20, because that's exactly what happened.

At the end of 10 rounds I had it 96-95 for margo. Cotto was so far ahead after 5 rounds that I thought even if Tony swept the last 7, he might get screwed by the judges. I was not certain that Margarito would win until Cotto took a knee the first time.

Round 3 . Cotto was landing some really good shots to the head but not the body. I started to wonder how Cotto was going to keep this pace, with nothing to show for it.

Round 5 - 7 I felt like Cotto was starting to get discouraged and was out of the fight; mentally.

Round 7 forget about it , its just a matter of time. No sustained body attack , at this point too easy for Margarito to come forward.

Round 10 Cotto ... do whatever you need to do , to finish this fight because you are in serious trouble.

Round 11 - No, not like that.

I felt like Margarito would win the fight a few weeks before the match.
