Alot will say round 7, but I say round 2.

Margarito was landing body shots that were bothering Cotto, I knew they were going to take its toll in the later rounds.

on first viewing, it was the 7th round. on second viewing, I think once Margarito had him hurt in the second round, it was only downhill for cotto there.

It was round 7 for me. That was the first time Cotto was noticeably hurt by Margarito where you can sense the fear in his eyes.

Through six, I thought Cotto did well.

From the getgo I knew Cotto was in trouble. He was trying so hard to get away from Marg and was being moved far whenever Marg came forward. His counterpunches were scoring and looked good but I don't think he was ever on firm ground where he could have gotten good leverage. His feet would barely stop and take off again. Then when I saw an exchange and saw that Cotto would come out on top of the exchange and then back away I saw the same thing that Mosley was doing against Cotto which is to get the better licks in and then give ground for no apparent reason. It seems in both cases the threat of being countered by a big punch was worse than actually getting punched. Also, Marg's head/body combinations early on and seeing Cotto had no answer made it evident as well.

Round 10 when Cotto was seriously hurt at the end of the round. Round 7 was a big Margarito round but I expected Cotto to weather the storm. Man was I wrong.

I'd say round 4 was where the seeds were planted. In my opinion that was the first round clearly won by Margo.

Definately in round 7 you could see that Margo had fully taken control.
