At1 fight epitomizes the need for Instant Replay in boxing

    The ref watched the replay, the comission watched the replay.. and yet they still made the wrong call because of the rules. Just plain ******ed. No reason not to resort to instant replay to make the right call.

    True, but I think he wanted to continue anway which is sad. Boxing needs to go back to the old days in some cases

    True, but have you seen a Carmen Basiilo fight or Gainer vs kelly. tHERE EYES WERE COMPLETY SHUT AND STILL FOUGHT ON. Thats why I think Rahman was a quitter in the Toney fight. He should never fight again. AT1 had heart, thats the difference

    I agree. There is an entire minute for the referee to look at replays between rounds, to see if cuts were caused by a punch or a headbutt. They should implement this as soon as possible. Because you can't expect the ref to be in perfect position all the time to call it, and then have his ruling be binding regardless of obvious counter evidence.

    But AT1 didn't stop the bout-the doctor did.

    Thats why I said he has heart, because he wanted to continue and knew he could. These doctors mess up good fights alot

    Absolutely. And if there is any justice in this sport at all, this result will be overturned.
