You know where you stand with me as far as respect goes HR, so I hope you took my post in the right context buddy. Think back to the "Greatest Mexican" thread that had Oscar and my much lamented hero Johnny Tapia on the list.:yep And as for your question,**** all! It's never been revealed until now but Ray was date raped that night. It's a fact that there was rohypnol in a bottle of water Ray was given before the fight.:bart I'm stopping before I reach the earth's core with this hole I'm digging
You guys won't ever leave me alone on that, huh. I can't help it if I look like a whiteboy mexican supremacist. :-( You, Garrus, Boxed and SJS have all said that. Act like I've even got a mexican wife, (half)-mexican kids, mexican friends or another house in Michoacán, Mexico before you go throwing any accusations out that I've got any hints of bias. :rofl :yep
Honestly, I hate that fight (SRL/Norris). Don't know what the hell he was thinking in 1997 either. What an ill advised disaster.
I have been defending Floyd the whole time, crushing everyone in the process. No one has been able to refute anything I said. Chavez never had a ATG defining win, lost to Oscar, lost to Pernell. Going 87-0 against low tier quality opposition means nothing. Floyd can crush Jerry Cooper 87 times in a day and it'll probably have the same depth as Chavez's first 87 opponents. Maybe with the exception of Haugen (He's actually pretty bad), Camacho, Taylor x2, Ramirez (Not an elite fighter), Rog (Mid quality) And they refute with "Taylor > Everyone Floyd faced" which is completely and utterly false The desperation of Chavez fans. :good And Floyd would completely crush Chavez AT any weight. Especially 130/135. Good lord. Chavez would die in there.
I stated quite clearly that at face value the resumes are near equal and Floyds not done yet. By the end of his career Floyd should be ahead
