Agreed. As to why I said face value. If you pick through the stages they were in their careers Chavez should be slightly ahead but its no landslide.

    Chavez should not be higher...

Floyd won TITLES from 130 all the way to 154 without quitting....

:deal Rats summed it up perfectly. Giving Oscar credit for busting up Chavez is about the same with Norris beating Leonard.

JCC's style all wrong for floyd, his sparring partner castillo already beat him once you know that guy ppl hate when brought up(**** look at how close 2nd fight scorecards were you don't think judges knew they made a huge mistake the first fight)& ppl got a legitimate case don't just do fan talk like floyd fans.Legacy wise & better fighter.*****s won't admit no ones ever better then their highly praised idol/god they got his d*ck too far up their throat/anus.This is also coming from a former floyd supporter who still respect his skill, proudly say I was never no dickriding ***** though like 95% of his down syndrome 2faced fan base.

    ^Consecutive... NO Retirements.

    READ for once dumbass.

You're gonna have to take Floyds own word here, the man was retired.

I said he took a year off, you God damn dip****.

Anyways, Floyd's longevity > Chavez's. 36 and still fighting at an elite level. Although Floyd hasn't fought as many bouts as Chavez, Floyd constantly fights top of the line opponents. Something Chavez did not do.

When Chavez was 36-37, he was already completely shot and got torn apart by Oscar.

Are you ******ed? Floyd had his hands full with the slow, plodding Castillo. Most people think he lost the first fight. What makes you think he's going to crush Chavez ?

    I can do that too

Chavez got the **** beat out of him by Pernell, what makes you think he can beat Floyd?

Floyd can beat Pernell at 147

Floyd's style is all wrong for Pea's and Chavez.

Floyd is the greatest at 130 for a reason, he could crush anyone at that weight EASILY.

Chavez beat all the top guys from 130-140lbs, unified and didn't duck anyone at those weights. And he certainly didn't duck his ATG rival of his era. He didn't lose his urge, took a vacation, said he was next only to go back on his statement and call himself a "rich coward".

If you want to use weight jumping as a criteria here, then i guess you're pretty much saying that Filipino midgest your hero didn;t have the balls to face is greater than him.

    Winning titles from 112lbs-147lbs >>>>>> 130lbs-154lbs

    :hi:

 at MayweathersVoraciousCocksucker saying Floyd only took 16 months off...I guess he must have not been around when Floyd took 21 ****ing months off in between '08-'09..you know during the time the Welterweight division was red hot.:rofl:patsch
