ATG at 168: RJJ, Calzaghe, Ward?

I think Clazaghe would had a better legacy at 168 with wins over at that time the best fighter Otke, Markus Beyer and maybe Erik Lucas at their primes, those where the champions or where great fighters at the time Calzaghe was a belt holder.

 

So you think the S6 was greater quality atsch.

Kessler - already beaten by Calzaghe
Green - Calzaghe has many greater wins
Bika - Already beaten by Calzaghe
Abraham - coming off of 2 clear S6 losses and lesser than many Calzaghe opponents
Froch - Already beaten by a Calzaghe opponent and never beaten a top SMW or a SMW champ

All those fights are less than Eubank or undefeated Kessler and Calzaghe has Reid & Mitchell who are above Froch, plus many others

 

I agree its a shame the Ottke or Beyer fights couldnt be made but they both wouldnt fight him. Still Calzaghe beat Lacy (Ottkes vacant belt) who was more respected at the time than Ottke and beat common opponents clearer overall.
Calzaghe also beat Kessler who beat Beyer and Kessler is more respected than Beyer

I agree, minus the idea of Eubank being a better win than Kessler for Ward.
Kessler was pretty much considered the #1 guy in the division, no? Eubank, while not shot was past his best days.
